Language is one of the most effective means of communication. No matter which society they are born into, individuals understand one another by using a common language. We are in need of communicating with other nations in this ever-changing globalising world. In other words, we are in need of at least one more language apart from our native language in order to share information with other countries in every aspect, to follow their agenda, to sustain our economical relations and most importantly to be conscious of what makes who we are.

Speaking a foreign language means a vision. It strenghtens the profile and finally enables more effective studies on the international platforms. Therefore, this single foreign language has gained more vitality in the process of EU membership and of opening out to the world.

In this context, we have focused on English which has become the common language in almost the whole world. In addition to this, as our second choice of foreign language, we have also had German which again has another important place among other languages on earth.

We pay utmost attention to language education so as to catch up with the age as a necessity of globalisation, to keep up with the times, to communicate with other countries in technological, economical and cultural aspects. Accordingly, our aim is to raise individuals who are proficient at foreign languages, who have self-confidence and who at the same time stick to the basic values.
