Earth-Savers Group Marched to Express Their Concern |
|
Do you carry a reusable bag? Use recycled computer paper for your printer? In other words, are you concerned enough about the environment that you’re doing something to protect it and the humans and animals that live within it? If so, you’re not alone. Earth-Savers group with about 50 students waving or wearing signs and banners marched to express their concern for the environment. Members of Earth-Savers group created an effective atmosphere in the school garden to express their concern for the environment. They carried signs, flags and banners with important warnings on them to remind everyone environmental problems. "Earth-Savers serves as an annual reminder to all people that environmental responsibility is everyone's responsibility," said the spokesman of the group. The students have proven that even the youngest among us can take real action to improve our world. They focused on a specific environmental problem and offered suggestions to help. The results of the action paint a good picture of what today’s kids and teens think about the environment. The group members said they consider themselves environmentalists and are very worried about the environment and issues such as pollution, global warming, and loss of natural habitat. This is good news. Why? When people are concerned about something, they are more likely to be motivated to act positively–one small step at a time. Each one of us can do simple things every day that eventually add up to big changes. |
