2009-2010 Academic Year In-Service Training Seminars

“In Service Training Seminars” of 2009-2010 started in Ihlas Educational Institutions. Prof.Dr.Orhan Kural, Hami Koç, the general manager of Ihlas Educational Institutions, school principals, teachers and the staff participated in the seminar.

Making the first address of the seminar, Hami Koç said that: ”The main purpose of the in service training program is to be able to help our students more effectively during the year and update ourselves. All the teachers are supposed to educate students for a great future.

Koç: "Our school is the place where confidence, love and respect are presented in harmony.”

Mr.Koç also emphasized that a school should be able to meet the needs of people with its mission, vision, equipment and the prosperity of the education team. Our schools were designed according to the educational needs and have all the necessary equipment for a perfect school environment.

Mr. Koç also mentioned that all the teachers in Ihlas College are supposed to receive the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) certificate which shows the great importance given to technology.”

Drawing attention to the achievements of the schools about foreign language which were on media earlier, Mr.Koç said: ”Attending the English Proficiency Exams organized with the cooperation of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) and The British Council, the students of Ihlas College became first in Key English Test(KET) and Preliminary English Test (PET) in Istanbul again this year by surpassing hundreds of schools.”

Speaking about the first place achievements in 2006 and 2007 ÖSS, 2007 and 2008 OKS, Mr.Koç told about the great achievements in OSS this year. Accounting for the secret of these achievements by attributing to the objectives intended in establishment of the schools, Mr. Koç stated: ”Our school is the place of confidence, love, respect and friendliness.”p>
